Mystery of the Internal Vibration

Entry for May 02, 2006

Did my pH test this morning and here are the results:

Salivary pH: 7.6

A healthy American should find they have a salivary pH above 6.0. People with cancer always have a pH below 6.0, and when they are terminal their pH is usually below 5.5. A health conscious American will have a salivary pH above 6.6 and never above 7.2. If their salivary pH is higher than that they lack good flora and digestive enzymes. If the saliva pH is too high (over 6.8), the body may suffer greatly, e.g. excess gas, constipation and production of yeast, mold and fungus.

Urine pH: 5.8

Urine testing may indicate how well your body is excreting acids and assimilating minerals, especially calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium. These minerals function as “buffers.” Buffers are substances that help maintain and balance the body against the introduction of too much acidity or too much alkalinity. Even with the proper amounts of buffers, acid or alkaline levels can become extreme. When the body ingests or produces too many of these acids or alkalis, it must excrete the excess. The urine is the perfect way for the body to remove any excess acids or alkaline substances that cannot be buffered. If the average urine pH is below 6.5 the body’s buffering system is overwhelmed, a state of “autotoxication” exists, and attention should be given to lowering acid levels.

Test Your Body’s Acidity or Alkalinity with pH Strips

It is recommended that you test your pH levels to determine if your body’s pH needs immediate attention. By using pH test strips, you can determine your pH factor quickly and easily in the privacy of your own home. If your urinary pH fluctuates between 6.0 to 6.5 in the morning and between 6.5 and 7.0 in the evening, your body is functioning within a healthy range. If your saliva stays between 6.5 and 7.5 all day, your body is functioning within a healthy range. The best time to test your pH is about one hour before a meal and two hours after a meal. Test your pH two days a week.

My results are not surprising and it looks like I have a lot of work to do…

I will say one thing, I didn’t have the same type of vibration last night. It appeared to be very very weak. Maybe these new changes are working!!

Started the day with half a tablet of Niacin (50 mg) and the two Super Enzymes pills and it was off to work. Around 10:30 I started to feel the pinching in my head so I take the Acidophilus and it goes away. Maybe I need to get the hydrochloric acid and PH paper to do this properly.

I go down the Shopper’s Drug Mart to see if they have any hydrochloric acid. I’m in the vitamin section and I can’t find anything so I also look in the digestive section. All they have anti-acids. I checked every single bottle and every single one of the medications were for too much stomach acid. Not one of them was for a stomach that was too alkaline. So I ask the pharmacist. She didn’t appear to know what I was talking about. I explained about the normal stomach acid and how I needed extra hydrochloric acid. Confused, she said she had never heard of this. She then asked a co-worker and he said they don’t carry it because it’s extremely corrosive. What a joke. Why do I even bother?

I stop in at a health food store on the way home and pick up hydrochloric acid from the shelf and some pancreatic enzymes. No hassle, no weird looks and a cash sale. Finally some understanding.

The PH test is only accurate first thing in the morning before breakfast so I’ll wait until tomorrow to try it. I took one tablet of the pancreatic enzymes and one 500 mg of hydrochloric acid with my dinner. Tomorrow is my Acupuncture so I’m very excited to tell her of my recent discoveries.

Day One: Felt slightly bloated early in the morning, fine by the afternoon

Day Two: Felt slightly bloated early in the morning, fine by the afternoon

Day Three: Today is the end of my three day pineapple diet and I feel great. I had a veggie burger for dinner so what made me feel better? The pineapple diet or the veggie burger?

So after two months I’m still vibrating and my doctor is no closer to solving the puzzle. So far I’ve discovered that pears and pineapples make me feel good so maybe it’s time to visit a Naturopath. I check my work coverage and they will pay eighty percent.

It’s not thyroid, it’s not a tapeworm. Could it be sympathy pregnancy?

Who knows…??? Back to Google. I spend most of the evening looking for something else to match my symptoms. I come across a web site that explains the importance of maintaining the balance of your PH level in your body. The body is normally alkaline and a poor diet can change the PH level to acidic making you prone to illness and disease. I find another web site that list the different types of foods that can have an effect on your PH level. On the list for Alkaline foods is Pineapple and Pears. WOW! The two things that make me feel better. I wonder if I can get a PH home testing kit to find out if my body is acidic.

I’m back in Shoppers Drug Mart and I spend a long time in each isle looking for a PH tester and I can’t find anything. I go to the back and ask the Pharmacist if they have a home testing Blood PH kit. She says they don’t carry them. Weird…if the PH balance of the body is so important, why don’t they sell it?

Around this time my wife and I are starting to buy things for the baby and for a while now I’ve noticed that I feel sick everytime we go into the Toys R Us store on Thickson Road. I didn’t think much of it before now but it seems to happen everytime we are in the store.

Sounds like sympathy pregnancy…
